I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what the wall is made from (it could likely be a cheap gate/hedge), but I go witha stone wall just to err on the side of caution. From what I remember though, it doesn't take that long to earn the largest size garden, and Pester doesn't start showing up until you're well on your way to doing so. This will work with the largest size garden, but I'm not sure about the smaller sizes. It's useful to use as a point of reference when positioning the wall. That totem pole is what appears when you start taming sour Pinatas. With this, every time he turns up, he'll stand there and yell a bit for 30 seconds or so, and then turn around and run away. Just copy the positioning and size of this wall. So here's a photo I took of the wall I made in my garden: Also, most of the video guides I found are blurry and poor quality. I've seen a few variations in video guides on YouTube, but while many of them work, some are bigger than they need to be, which take up space, and some of them result in Professor Pester becoming permanently stuck in certain places, which can be annoying if he's yelling and making noises constantly. You have to build a wall in a specific manner at the edge of your garden where he appears. In my opinion, this glitch saves the game completely from a game-breaking design choice. Honestly, he's poorly implemented, and easily the biggest problem with the game, to the point where he would likely stop me from playing it altogether were it not for this glitch. He also turns up relatively frequently too. The game gives you no notification that he's entered, and you have only a very small window of time to pay him off, so if you don't spot him in time, there's no stopping him from fucking things up. There's actually a glitch you can take advantage of to ensure that he won't be able to enter your garden.įor those of you who don't know, Professor Pester is a character who comes into your garden, targets your most valuable Pinata, and destroys it unless you spot him in time and pay him off with enough gold coins (the game's currency). I'm creating this thread because obviously a lot of people are going to be starting on Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, and also because I've seen a few people commenting on how annoying Professor Pester is.
